Wow, what a weekend and what a way to start the season.  5-0 and the championship of the first tournament of the year.  In case you are wondering, we are going to give the 1st place trophy to Braveland Dental, out newest sponsor for this season.  They are still offering to do custom mouthguards for our team…free of charge.  Some of the girls think the coaches should get mouthguards so we cant yell…but I keep telling them, we NEVER yell.  We are just offering our own brand of encouragement.  Now if that gets a little loud sometimes…

Anyway, outstanding TEAM effort this weekend, with everybody playing a huge part.

Some of the highlights…

Great pitching from Miki and Elizabeth, fighting the nasty winds.

The Power hitting of Erica, who hit the ball further than most guys. 3 Home runs in a row!  

The big triple by Sarah, Rachel’s double play, Kylie’s catch behind the plate, Elizabeth playing hurt in the championship game, Lindsey staying with us to win the softball title before leaving to play hockey, Lauren’s big home run in the championship,  Ally playing all over the field, and the new batting style for “I hit for the cycle” Madison.

Plus we can not forget the best cheerleaders we could have asked for in Jazz and Kenzie.  Get well soon girls, but until you do, thanks so much for being there.

Andover this next weekend…and it looks like Watertown, South Dakota on the 26th-27th of June. Probably be our only trip out of state.
